Drop for Non-Payment Process
See Master Calendar from Office of the Registrar for corresponding dates and deadlines

Students may be dropped from their classes in either session if they have not paid fees and any outstanding balance due by the Student Fee Payment Deadline.

Special Session classes are not subject to the drop for non-payment process and students should carefully review the refund deadlines for courses held in this session.

If a student's classes are dropped for non-payment after the Student Fee Payment Deadline, all tuition and fees for that session will be removed from the student’s account. Once the drop for non-payment process is completed, paid wait-listed students will be rolled into open classes before the registration freeze lifts and registration is re-opened for all students. Once the registration freeze is lifted, all students may access Schedule Builder to register or change class enrollments.

Students who are dropped for non-payment and re-register, or who register for the first time after the Student Fee Payment Deadline, will have the late registration fee assessed to their student account and must pay all Summer Session fees, the late registration fee, and any outstanding balance due by the Late Fee Payment Deadline.

Students who are dropped for non-payment after the Late Fee Payment Deadline will have all tuition and fees for that session removed from the student’s account.  After the Late Fee Payment Deadline students must complete the Current Term Reactivation process to re-register for their classes. The Current Term Reactivation form is available in the Office of the University Registrar.  This process involves obtaining an active PTA (permission to add) number and payment of all fees by a given deadline in order to be re-registered.

Students who no longer wish to be enrolled in Summer Sessions (Session 1, Session 2, or Special Session) must complete and submit a Cancellation/Withdrawal form.

Students should not use or expect the drop for non-payment process to remove them from their classes, or relinquish them from their financial responsibility and obligations for Summer Sessions.
