Fee Reduction and Waiver

Ways to Submit

In person: Bring your completed and signed UC Career Staff Reduced Fee Authorization form to the Office of the University Registrar in 3100 Dutton Hall. Office hours are 10:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. (PST). The Office of the University Registrar is not open on weekends or holidays.

By Email: Scan or photo the completed and signed the UC Career Staff Reduced Fee Authorization form. Send as an attachment to registrar@ucdavis.edu.

By Fax: 530-752-6906. It is your responsibility to follow up to verify that your UC Career Staff Reduced Fee Authorization form has been received in the Office of the University Registrar.

By Mail: Mail the UC Career Staff Reduced Fee Authorization form to Office of the University Registrar, One Shields Avenue, Davis, CA 95616-8692. Allow for additional delivery time when using the U.S. Postal Service as the form must be received by the Office of the University Registrar in 3100 Dutton Hall by the deadline. Postmarks are not accepted.

UC Career Employee Fee Reduction

If you are a UC career staff employee with a non-ending employment date, you are eligible for reduced Summer Sessions campus fees. TA, RA, PGR, GSR, or casual positions do not qualify for this reduction. A UC Career Staff Reduced Fee Authorization form is required along with a Summer Session application.

Complete the form and submit it to the Office of the Registrar (3100 Dutton Hall). If you have any questions, please call the Office of the University Registrar at 530-752-3639.

Participating in this educational program does not in itself provide preference in admission to the University of California. Students interested in applying to UC Davis should contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at 530-752-2971 for details about the admissions process.

Cal Vet Fee Waiver

The Cal Vet Fee Waiver may only be applied to Summer Session fees if you are a continuing UC student. If you are a Vocational Rehabilitation recipient, you may also use your grant towards your Summer Session courses. For more information regarding this program, please contact Veterans Affairs.
