Bio

As executive director for UC Davis Summer Sessions, Omega Lee provided operational leadership, staff coordination and supervision, and management for campus-wide programs that enhance and promote Summer Sessions operations.

Lee has worked in higher education for more than a decade holding various roles in student affairs. She has experience working with diverse student groups, including the veteran community. She helped many students from the point of admission through graduation to achieve their educational goals.

A California native born and raised in the Bay Area, Lee is a first-generation college student. She earned an Associate of Computer Technology Degree from Heald College, a bachelor’s degree in business management, a Master of Business Administration and a Doctor of Education Degree with an emphasis in Higher Education Administration from the University of Phoenix. Her research focused on student retention in higher education and the strategies required to retain them.

Lee is passionate about serving students and helping them achieve educational success.
